Early start; thirteen took part. Beat the heat. Did almost five. All were sweet!
Twenty-one joined the fun; hiked 'bout 6 when we were done. Too warm to shiver; but, the river delivered.
Crossed Jocassee; six guys, eight lassies. Climbed the hills before the heat. Six plus miles, hard to beat.
Thirteen came out to play on a nearly perfect day. Hiked 'bout six, took lots of pics. Went to the Devil's Court; delightful sport.
Planned six, did nine. Friday worked just fine. Saw three falls; double crossed a stream. Shed shoes for slippers ... in bloom; no dream.
Six hikers, six cameras, no dogs; hi temps, light togs. Lots to see, but trail miles just three; with no rain ... whee!
Thirteen beat the heat. Found the Narrows quite a treat. Hiked six per plan, sure we'll do again.
Eight kept their date with the Yellow fellow. Was only two an' a half so explored two more ... along Mill Creek shore.
Fifteen did the Tennessee Rock ... 'bout four an' half out and bock. Perfect day for outside play.
This first time visit was exquisite. Eighteen made the scene. Seven point two really flew. This again we'll surely do!
Start with ten, miss turn and then, nine did fine. New cut trails thru hills and vails; no markers prompted a few wails. Did four plus without pain and all got back before the rain.
Twenty played possum; found it awesome. So much to see in two point five plus three.
Four did explore ... Wattacoo. Hiked five point five, past lake, two falls, and one bat hive. Here's the scoop: We'll bring the group.
Nine plus miles for twelve brought smiles. Flowers late, but falls were great.
With falls resplendent, wished the hike hadn't ended. Twenty-one did five plus, then rated it a perfect 10!
Twenty-five hiked. Everyone liked. Left wanting more, after trekking just four.
Sixteen hiked The Connection, with great affection ... for a blossoming perfect day, that made the seven miles to fly away.
Flat Stanley and seven friends hiked four miles to two trail ends. Oconee Bells and Lake Joacassee made this hike kinda classy.
Lost our direction, but not our affection, for this early spring hike selection. Eight planned on four. Did one mile more.
Just nine got in line to see falls so fine. When we'd done four, all wished for more.
Thirteen sprang forward, six miles up, and down, then went for yummies in Highlands town.
Cold, gray day. Still seventeen came out to play. Did seven plus miles with lots of smiles.
'Twas March fourth. And, so we did. Seventeen marched seven plus. Good for us!

Twenty one made it fun, especially with the warming sun; did 6.5 when we were done.
Great day for hiking. Lots of sights for liking. Seventeen did eight point five. Much more fun to hike than drive.
Ten joined in. Six did Central. Four went South; did 7 plus. Explored. Adored. Jeepers! Add to keepers.
Brilliant day to get away. Nineteen made the scene. Missed one spur, but did five and were … all happy … that's for sure.

Lots of sun. Twelve had fun … did five when done. We'll be ravin' 'bout Rabun and oral 'bout Laurel.
Nineteen strode to Hatchery Road. Did a quick six point six. Cold to start, but warming sun, made the day a lot of fun.
'Twa chilly at Clemson East, to say the very least. Found the trail and place to park. Not our usual crowd and lark. Just one hiker did just one mile. Ended with a frozen smile.
For twenty three, Chattooga was the place to be. Hiked 'bout seven; most near heaven.
Thirteen became fifteen intending on five. All made it through, but one took a dive.
This first Blue Ridge Rambler gambol, was done in sun without a scramble. Hiking 5.5 in all was, for 13, a fine inaugural.
What's a little shower? It couldn't sour the five who took the dive … seven soggy miles to Thompson River.
Iffy weather? Fifteen still got together. Hiked seven; all stayed dry. Sure glad we gave the day a try.
Damp tramp. Fifteen went; each a champ. Hiked six and a half. All good for a laugh.
Lucky thirteen. Started late. Still hiked eight. Two thousand foot climb … with nary a whine.
Twenty-eight kept their date with Rainbow. A little ice, then very nice. Six miles? Could have done this twice!
We beat the rain that never came. Hiked six-point-five. Came out alive. One pup plus eight declared it great.
Twelve Tuesday-Thursday Trekkers trod the trails to two terrific tableaus … on a good Friday(!).
Seventeen stretched a bit our hike routine. Climbed 2000 while trekking eight. Caught awesome views that all thought great.
Fourteen should have been more wary … climbed the mountain, found it "Scary." On Halloween did miles five. Most of them came out alive.
Twenty-four with esprit de corps hiked for seven, ready for more. Fine day for Three Forks play.
Frosty morning, warming sights, we're so glad we scaled the heights. Fifteen hiked; did seven plus … and liked, and liked.
A color-fall twenty-eight had a date with falls so great that no one minded hiking eight.
Twenty-one joined the fun. Completed eight when they were done. DuPont Forest at its best. Those who hiked were truly blessed.
Sixteen found Keowee Toxaway intoxicating on a perfect day. Five-point-five miles flew away.
Bartram brought them; 16 in all, looking for signs of fall. After 8 with weather great, decided fall's a little late.
Fifteen made the scene. Most did six. Paused for pix. Fine day in the sticks.
Hikers darted out of harm's way from the swarms … all except one.
Thirteen made the scene. Stayed alive for 5.5. Great weather for this get together.
Eight found the Gorges gorgeous. Falls enthralled on a five mile lark in Gorges State Park.
Sixteen warmed up for the 2013-14 season along 6 miles of Coon Branch and Lower Whitewater. Happy days are here again.
